Many countries now have a national curriculum for schools. Sometimes it is a continuous process from primary through to the school leaving age. This approach has been adopted in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and it is also used in Scotland where the Curriculum 5-14 is used in all schools. It is important that the defined curriculum is linked to the quality process. This is especially important if classroom teachers are to be involved in the quality process, as their primary interest is in the delivery of the curriculum rather than the overall management of the school. EvalPro can be linked to the Scottish 5-14 programme. Other curriculum approaches could also be integrated.
