Once an internal (or external evaluation has been undertaken, planned improvement should be considered. This is best carried out by preparing written plans. In the UK and Ireland such plans are called Development Plans and each school is required to prepare one on a regular basis. However, within the development plan there will be a range of sub-plans or action plans.
