To open EvalPro you will require the password. To obtain this email postmaster@philipdrake.net

When you click the link to the database, you will see a home page called Instant Web Publishing. You will see a link to EvalPro. When you click the link you will see a page showing the EvalPro Menu.

Click the button Self-Evaluation Criteria. This will take you to a page where you will see the seven Level 1 Key Areas. To see the next level of detail for any of the key areas, click the red arrow to the right of the item. The Level 2 items will be displayed. To go to the next level of detail, select an item by clicking the red arrow to its right. This will open the page showing the Level 3 items. You can then select an item to display the next level of detail.

At Level 2 it is possible to enter ratings to evaluate the school's performance. In real use the ratings could be made by different departments in a single school or the system could be used by a group of schools.

To make a rating, for an item, enter the year and select a school from the value list that opens when you click into the School field. For demonstration purposes the schools are listed as School 1, School 2 etc.

Ratings can also be entered at Level 3.

At Level 4, you can enter your own comment, or additional detail, for each of the items. As different users can enter comment for a single item, you must enter the year and the school to distinguish your entry from other entries. A record is created for each entry.

The buttons along the top of each page will display all the items at the level indicated.

Search facility

To search the database, click the Search button that appears on some of the pages. A page will be displayed with a field for you to enter search criteria (eg: homework). To the left of the page a status area will be displayed. When you have entered your search criteria, click the Continue button in the status area. A search will be made in all fields for your criteria and the search results will be displayed in a list (5 items per page) The status area will be displayed on the left and you can move through the pages by clicking the "pages" displayed in the status area.
