The evaluation process is crucial to the success of a quality development programme. Evaluation answers the question "How are we doing at present". It should compare policies with current practice and it should take account of the views and attitudes of the "stakeholders" such as pupils. parents, staff, employers and the local community. The use of surveys is extremely useful in obtaining the views of the stakeholders. Focus on quality includes a simple but effective means of developing, scoring and analysing surveys. |
